SUSIE HUNT MORAN
Principal Broker
Susie has been in the business for 14 years and serves as the Principal Broker. She studied Recreation Mgmt at U of O (Go Ducks!) where she played D-1 tennis before going on to become a tennis pro. Now, she brings her sporting tenacity to the competitive world of PDX real estate, where she’s an expert negotiator whose attention to detail and home readiness ensures that homes are sold for top dollar and purchased at a fair price.
She’s also become a bit of a PDX maven over the years with her Susie Knows PDX blog on all things real estate and beyond, Susie will make sure you are heard and will answer your every question along the way (or connect you with her giant Portland (virtual) rolodex. Susie Knows PDX!
MATT MORAN
Broker
Matt is Susie’s nephew. 8 years ago he swapped his commercial fishing license for a real estate license and he’s so happy he did. Fast-forward to now. He’s helped over 100 families, both buyers and sellers, find their perfect fit. Matt is a U of Portland alumni and when he’s not cycling PDX, he splits his free time between the Oregon coast and Mt. Hood’s ski slopes with his little daredevil daughters and wife Anna.
Matt specializes in preparing homes for Listing Day Wow Factor without the stress. He’s also got a great eye for renovation and seeing a home’s potential for prospective buyers.
JAMIE VAN HOORN
Broker
Jamie joined Moran Homes in 2019, she grew up in Sellwood and studied Journalism and Business Administration at the U of O before settling back in the Rose City Park with her two tiny dogs. After personally going through the home buying process, she left her job in sales & marketing in the beer & wine industry to follow her passion for real estate. She wanted to help others realize their home ownership goals in addition to having a better, more profitable experience selling a home. (She still loves her Willamette Valley Pinots and local hazy IPAs though!)
Jamie brings a tech-savvy, millennial quickness to the team. She’s the queen of organization and is in charge of running the backend of Moran Homes. And with millennials entering the housing market in droves and searching for homes in a whole new way, Jamie’s marketing experience is invaluable.
