Why did I choose Real Estate?

Real Estate has allowed me to merge four of my strengths into becoming a successful broker with proven results for my clients:

My goal is to negotiate the best outcome for you by using my extensive knowledge of the Portland area market, my experience with home remodeling and my exceptional problem-solving skills. I know buying or selling a home can be overwhelming but I am here to make it easy for you. I have a clear and effective communication style and there is nothing more important to me in the this process than a happy client.


Lifelong Oregonian

I grew up on SE 40th and Hawthorne, the fourth of 28 grandchildren. My early years were spent developing a love for the outdoors in the Willamette Valley. Now I live in Northeast Portland with my wife and two children. We love everything Portland has to offer from the local music to the microbrews to the amazing food from around the world. Where else can you start your day with a perfect cup of coffee, check the forecast and decide to ski, surf, fish, kite surf or bike most any day of the year? My passion for Portland is endless.


Education & Experience

There is never a second chance at a first impression. Top profits on homes start with proper market preparation which include: Professional marketing, photography, staging and property enhancement. These are key elements to getting your property under contract fast. However, the one aspect of market preparation that trumps all others is PRICING! Pricing a home perfectly is a mix of art and science. In addition to having the collaboration of other brokers in my office, I have access to the most current market data and resources to help you make the most informed decisions to reach your goal.

Internet marketing is huge! Statistics show that 95% of all residential real estate buyers use the internet for market information and listed properties. I subscribe to multiple syndicating services that feed my listings to all the major sites like Zillow, Redfin, Trulia, RMLS and Craigslist. When listing your home with me, it will be seen by thousands of potential buyers within hours of going on the market. Conversely, I also use the internet to help my buyers find the perfect house. I set up a custom search profile for all of my buyers that can be continually tailored to fit your needs. This system keeps us in sync with the latest properties to hit the market. When we find the perfect home to write an offer on, I prepare a custom report to help you make a winning offer.
